Hearing aids questions.

I am ready to admit that I probably need hearing aids. What type/brand is recommended and where should I go to purchase? Thanks.

I've been screened several times over the last 20yrs, since I went deaf in my right ear.

All I can say, is stay away from the "Hearing aid" stores... and go directly to a ENT doctor.

Ask him what he recommends.

I've been to them all... a good set would've run me around 3k, and was mid grade. I came close to getting a set, I really liked the terms. It was set up like a rental, where I paid monthly... and got free repairs, batteries, and upgrades. Cost worked out to what a 3k set would've cost me over 3yrs... and that's usually how often they're replaced.
