Heater Question

On 84-87 GNs w/ turbochargers, they all (or most) had a/c equipped standard. If you want to remove a/c and use a a/c delete plate, can most cooling shops fabricate the delete plate to retain heat?

Do you mean keep a functional fan for cab heat?? If so, I think most find old G body heat-only units and just bolt that in the place of the A/C box. I've seen some recent posts concerning these boxes, so a search on it should turn up some good info.
