Hi guys,

I don't know how i could have missed this site for so long!

Anyway a bit about myself; 25, vice-manager of our National distribution centre, all-time favourite car is the GN-X, love my cars, love working on my cars, wish we had your aftermarket for the Buick V6 over here! (ours sucks!!!)

After having an accident at work just over a year ago, I decided when I recovered that I was going to take the time to build myself an all-out, stripped out, no holes-barred VN commodore single turbo 3800 V6.

I ended up returning to work last month, and the VN is still sitting as a bare shell in the garage, So hopefully i can get inspired to do some work on it!!

Cheers guys,

Steve.

I imagine there is a few, I've seen other Buicks around here but never a GN. Usually guys with American cars have mustangs (guys with no imagination!)

Would love to see a GN though, would be sweet.

At the moment Im trying to research what exactly went into the Buick indycar motors (the turbo ones). As most fast V6's down here are our 'ecotec' which I believe is different to yours.

The "ecotec" V6 is nothing more than our Series II engine. We've had several Aussies come and visit but I have yet to see one of them stick around. Welcome aboard! Have you checked out sixbanger.com from your side of the pond? They have some interesting stuff if you haven't seen it.

Welcome to TurboBuick.com, the biggest & the best of all of the turbo Buick forums / sites anywhere.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
Yeah I thought the ecotec was the same as your seriesII

I have an ecotec in the missus' VX commodore, and im not really a fan.
I much prefer my seriesII (ours) V6's.

Any information you guys care to share, or performance shops to talk to would be greatly appreciated, as our aftermarket only really caters for the L67.

I am in the process of building a 10second sedan, but we lack the bits to bolt it together.

Cheers guys
