Hello, Newbie here

I just registered on the board and I thought I would introduce myslef. First off I don't currently own a GN/GNX but I have an apreciation for the car and I really would love to get my hands on one in the next few years. Currently I own and drive an 89 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 and a 97 Firebird FORMULA. It's the red car in my sig pic. I am also the President of Socal Muscle Car Club based out of Northridge. I don't really want to make this post much longer so I'll end it there.

I do have one question thou. I usually see maybe one or two Grand Nationals here or there and I'm wondering how many of you who own one are in the valley?

There are quite a few to my knowledge in your area. I dont remember who owns them.

I know Ermin he is a member of GM Muscle car club and has an 85 T-Type and an 87 GN.

my buddy has two gn's in sylmar, and his buddy has 1. I've seen about 4 of them around in the last year or so. The elky roams granada hills, occasionally....Looking for victims welcome......

I know this guy that has/had (not sure if he still owns the car any more) a Elco that had bout 900RWHP out of a 572 BB with full road race suspension on 19 inch BMW rim and tire. He would sling that thing through the twisties like stunt rd off of mulholland taking down M3's, STI's and EVO's like nothing. I only saw him once in the canyons but heard bout his driving from quite a few and I swear to god I thought for sure he was gonna wreck. But that guy was one of the scariest and damn good drivers I have ever seen. Especially with a big bitch like that up in the canyons. that **** was just unbelievable to watch.

I live in Arleta, It's a mini-GN central.One neihbor has a TTA just sold a 87' GN that I almost bought =( .he just bought a 87 Turbo T roller..and another 87 GN..
A few blocks away a guy has an 86 GN but with a v8 in it =\.. Another dude in a 87 GN rolls through haulin balls from time to time..he took his GN in or a tune up at a shop my friend works at and its a low mile GN he got off ebay for 20k or something but i have never spoke to him personally he passes by too fast!..I see another 87 GN rolling through sun valley on 22 inch iroc wheels =(...Call me obsesive but I recognize GN's from a mile away..I'll have mine by the end of this year also...=D
