YOu guys are the turbo gods so I ask for your assistance.

I am converting my 3800 Series II Supercharged engine to a turbo setup.

The engine is going to the machinist in a few weeks to get cleaned up and have the bottom end rebuilt. Basically staying with the same compression ratio, but overboring .010 to .020 and installing forged pistons.

I am replacing the M90 with a TA-49 turbo.

I am looking for cam advice. Is anyone in the grand national world know enough about the series ii 3800 to make a good cam recommendation? IF not firsthand, who can i call?

Thanks!

charles

The cam that GM chose for the supercharger will work fine for a turbo as well.

If anything I'd get something slightly larger with a little more duration on the exhaust side.

PERSONALLY, I'd keep the stocker and have larger valves installed.
