Does anyone know of anybody that works on the TB in the Las Vegas area.
I am having an issue I just cannot find.

Car will smoke at idle when started untill the car is driven then just goes away, even when sitting at a stop light.
Also when driving for about 15-20 minutes the car will start bucking an feels like it is going to stall out when braking and sitting at a stop. If I put the trans. in neutral it will stop bucking. I have just installed all the items in my sig. Prior to that the car was sitting for almost 3 years. I also did the spring cleaning recommendation.
I am still getting used to and trying to learn the scan master. So far knock has not been a problem. I do know the Throttle position sensor is readling .44 at idle and I have seen it go to about 3.00 when driving. The O2's when driving are between 300-805, when let off the gas and coasting the O2"s go to zero. This is about all the info I have right now.
Any suggestions. By the way I have the 92-93 octane TT chip and running 100 octane gas.

run that gas out and put 93 back in the tank and put in a denso 02 and see what's going on then. How long have you been running 100?

IS there any raw fuel smell ? I agree with Farva, Swap out your O2 and put some good 93 gas. Denso or NGK ...anything but old tech(bosch) from what i can tell(just got my Scanmaster also) your o2 should be above 750mv.
Also, your 100 octane might be the problem( crazy i know) I'm not 100% on this but I think if you run 100 you need the chip/tune for 100. IMO

What is your TPS at WOT? Sure you know, but just in cause. The motor doesn't need to be running to set the TPS idle/WOT.
Also for the smoke, if the o2 doesn't help, could be soaked breather(if open type) or many other things but don't mean to scare you  lets do one thing at a time. Hope its just an O2 buddy

One problem out here is we do not have 93 octane. Only 91 and the goes to
100 octane. I just put the 100 octane in when I got the car running about
2 weeks ago. So still have about 3/4 tank.
I thought about the O2 sensor from watching the readings on the scanmaster.
I will try that since they are not to expensive and see what happens. Have not gone WOT yet, would like to get it running better first. I will let you know. Thanks for the suggestions.
Also where did you get your Denso O2 at, & does it have the right connector?

I got the denso 02 from arnolds motor supply for 22 bucks. THis was the cheapest I could find. Doesn't hurt to call around in your area.

We don't have REAL 93 around here so I just use the 91. We got a few ethanol stations around here but I don't think I have enough injector to use the 98 blends. If you plan on alky injection, 91 octane isn't really going to be a factor. I'm running 22lbs of a windshield washer pump and washer fluid:eek::cool: ....i plan on changing this setup a bit during the winter ressurection.

If the 100 octane is unleaded, it shouldn't be an issue....see what your BLM's are at when it's acting up and going down the road...never hurts to put a new o2 in it, but I would gather more data

Just ordered the denso O2 sensor.
The 100 octane is unleaded gas.
We will see what happens!!!

Nice droid sir:cool: YOU GOT ROBOT ARMS BTW!!!!!

Denso is a single wire(why it's pretty cheap but well made even so) the heated O2 (if you got the kit from casper's) to replace that O2 is 60$. Which If you ask me both perform about the same.

As for octane, sorry I didn't know.

Let us know if the O2 helps any.;)

 A good wrench or What i did was just Get a DEEP socket and turned it with the wire run through it before hand. Then TQ it down the same way, just put a little E tape on the wire to protect it better. Then you reset the ECM however you like.

So the new O2 sensor is in. Car idles smoother and O2 sensor reads around 740-760 at idle when warmed up. Still the engine is not running right. Boost guage shows 15psi but I swear the car only feels more like it has about 5psi of boost when I get on it. I have replaced all my vacuum lines, but I do not have a vacuum tester. The scanmaster still shows no knock, which is very suprising to me. Any other suggestions.

Your boost read 15psi at WOT? whats your vac at idle? Where did you tapp your boost gauge into?
post all your readings car off/idle.
Could be a dirty air filter, I notice this same crappy feel, swapped out my air filter with a clean spare one(also dryflow) fixed it for me. Also what's your fuel psi at WOT/IDLE?

Recheck your Vac lines not for leaks but how they are routed. Also your wires, check for grounded ign wire, slighly bad wire could give you this feel.

Is this Chris P? Sorry dude, I've been super busy. I'm good now though. I can check it out tomorrow if you're still interested. Thanks, scott

Yep this is Chris P. I have to work on Saturday but I am available Sunday or next weekend.
I was wondering if you were still in Vegas or got transfered.
