Well here goes, i have just installed the alky kit on the t-type using 100% methenol. For now it is a simple hobbs turn on/off kit that is set to turn on at 7 psi. The pump is a new snow performance 150/180 psi pump. The nozzel is also snow performance, 375 ml/min (29.55ml = 1fl oz or 5.948 gal/hr) I did some test pulls and readings on the scanmaster are between 860 to 900 and degrees of retard knock are 1.9 to 3.3 and this is only with 15.5 16 psi boost. on the LM-1 wideband it will start out at 10.4 and then drop to 9.9 and slowly make its way up to 10.2, (so its big rich). why am I getting knock so soon, with only 15.5 to 16 psi ???

Could it be the Red's 93 chip ( too much timing ?). The first pull I did turn up the boost to spike 20 and hold 18.5 psi, but only stayed in it for a second or two because knock was bad --> 9.8 degrees .
