Chasing Vacuum Leaks
Can't put my hands on the invoice, but I do remember I was surprised at the price I paid for it. Think it was around $90.00?
Guess you'll have to give them a call to find out for sure.
Keep in mind that I purchased this in Canada from one of their distributors so it may be 1/2 the price in the USA (which is where I believe this is made).
One thing I'd like to pass along from my experiences. Don't use too much air pressure on your leak detector attached to turbo inlet bell. I blew out my Throttle Body seals the first time using 20# of air.
Set your compressor for as low as you can......maybe 3-5psi or less.
I've been told that the proper auto smoke detectors made for this purpose use very little air pressure...maybe 1-2psi
The other option, you could choose is to have an auto performance shop who have a proper "automotive smoke machine" do a diagnostic on your car. May be an hour of labour at their shop rate, but it would be worth it to find your leaks. Just need to look for shops that do work on forced induction cars...like Porsches, Mercedes, Subarus etc.

I also need new throttle body seals now. I also used 20 psi from my compressor. I thought I "found" the leak, not "caused" it. So 20 psi is too high from the compressor? Could I just unhook a vacuum hose and suck in either ATF or Sea Foam to make smoke?
