How do I get it back??

Thanks!

Frank you might try: Tools / Internet Options / Programs / Reset Web Settings then re-compose your setup.

tried that jimmy. It went back to the home page of Sony.. The manufacture of my computer.. I still have the 'no click' ability of the home page setting under tools..

I dl's it Jimy. It does not reconize my computer:( I even put in my ip addres..

I've seen similar to this. It's likely one of those fancy "toolbar" programs that adds a wonderfully use(ful|less) toolbar to IE.

1. Go through your programs in control panel, add/remove programs, and uninstall any "toolbar" programs you don't absolutely need. Personal opinion, but this would be ALL of them other than say the Google toolbar.

2. Download and run ad-aware. It can fix some of the damage these programs have done. I did have it successfully fix one which was coming up with a blank about: page.

With Windows XP Pro, you can use GPEdit to change the setting which disables the buttons. You'll have to try this:

Go down to Remove IE Restrictions and Restore Missing Tabs

Click it, and you will download a .REG file which will perform an edit on your registry. This should fix it. You'll probably have to close all of your IE sessions, then reopen.

I mean XP. lol I got it working.. Went back to a restore date when it was there and restored it to that date. Thanks guys!
