77.5 was the original change date for the even fire engine and 79 was the first year for the high port heads.:smile:

got 1 more question can a carburated cam work in a hot air car?

The stock cam was put in NA and turboed cars at the same time. It will depend on the cam you choose but one of the common cam upgrades is/was the Eldebrock cam which is refered to a 204/214 cam.
