help identifying 200r4

Friend of a friend has what he says is a new 200r4 for a grand national.It does not say BRF on it only #'s i see on it is about 2" tall and says 405 and another place a few inches away 5????? He claims to have gotten it from a closed area Buick dealer when they closed their doors! He is a retired GM powertrain engineer also.

There should be a plastic tag attached to the rear of the tranny. If not you may have to take the pan off and verify the valve body.
