Help me with shocks

My car has a really brutal ride, shocks are shot. Im looking for a good all around shock with a nice smooth ride. Car is basically a driver(weather permitting)and will see some drag racing once in a blue.

A shock thread, again

Options:
Bilsteins Good highway ride, a bit rough on the street
KYB Good highway ride, a bit better on the street
AC Delco stock replacement Like a Caddie
Edelbrock Performer About like the KYB. Rebound is not quite right IMO.
Monroe Sensatrac A good option. Right in the middle...

Most prefer to pay the bucks for the Bilsteins.

You may want to replace the rear springs, if you haven't done it already. I used the Kirban springs.

There are many opinions on this... this one is mine.

And don't bother asking me how many times I have swapped shocks on my car...
