Help on painting the black areas on 86-87 gn rims

Anyone have any tips or ideas on painting theses rims?
The prep work takes so long.Masking the rims with tape
takes awhile to do.Any help is appreciated.Thanks...

I have painted a few sets.

Grabbed a can of Semi-Gloss Black, and a small brush. Just took my time with them and they turned out looking really nice! Have a rag in your hand with a little thinner just incase you go outside of the lines. Might have to put on a few coats!

Im not really the masking type...as you said...it takes too long!
