help with 2 quick questions

1) my used 89 s-10 seems to gather a lot of rainwater up near the cab end. I think the bed is tilted this way.

Would it be ok to drill two drain holes.
( i don't care about the truck it is yard workhoarse or ebay parts hualer.)

2) Was in daily driver the other night & noticed a hot head
Honda boy weaving behind me & the car in the fast lane on the highway. was doing 65.
I pulled ahead to let him go around since he was in such a hurry that I figured why not highway race the little kid.

So I stepped on the pedal as he was pulling up.
65>70.75> > > > all the way to 115mph WTF my Olds cuts out??

Does gm put a speed limiter on 96 & nerwer cars?

1. Yes. I've done this. Coat the newly bare metal surface inside the hole with silicone after drilling, to avoid rust.

2. Yes. Don't feel too bad, my 2000 GMC 3/4 Ton limits at 97MPH.

Is there any bypassing the limiter.

I was beating HONDA BOY HANDLY too.
If I could have I would push the 130/140 mark

Usually not without a Hypertech programmer (or equivalent).
