i just bought a convertor from another board member and was told it is a nonlockup, now i have had both non lockup and lockup convertors before and this one seems to be a lockup, if you look down into hte convertor you can see were the small extnsion on the end of the shaft seats in, my art carr non lockup you can clearly tell there is no provision for the little nub on the end,but could htis convertor still have a place for ths shaft to go but not be lockup?
also if i put a pump on the convertor wilth an input shaft and you spin the input you can hear some scraping? is that normal when bench testing? just dont want to put in hte convertor and watch it go boom
thanks Otto
