Help with Detent Cable

How long is the detent cable on a 84-85? Where is the best place to purchase a replacement?

I believe hiwaystars has them in stock and Glen should be able to ship it quick. He's also a vendor on the site so that helps as well.

Make sure you ask for a Throttle Valve cable. A detent cable is used on TH250/350/c models for downshift/detent action. Throttle valve cable controls pressure rise, shift characteristics and timing (with governor). Two totally different items.
