help with laptop connection

I got a new laptop and it doesnt have a serial RS232 port for my bank to bank FAST. Is does however have a VGA and 3 USB ports. Is there any type of connector or adapter i can buy to make this work? Or am i screwed like usual? Thanks alot!!!!

Yes you can get a USB to Serial adapter.

Some adapters work, some don't. Maybe a search of the archives will provide good/bad product choices....

FAST sells one that works. Some usb adaptors are flakey for some reason.

Do a search for posts made by me and there should be a post I made a few years back that has a USB to serial adapter that will work and the web site that I purchased it from.
