I'm going to install the MAF Translator and a 3" LT1 MAF sensor. I was wondering what position the MAF needs to be put in. I see which direction the flow goes but does where the harness plugs in have to be on top? Can this go to the right side? Thanks.

The plug connector on the MAF can be in any position. The most critical placement is the Trans + itself as it is vunerable to underhood fluids and yet you'll need to have access to it to make your adjustments. I installed one in an `87 T behind the glove box by splicing into the existing ECM harness (Samuri-style) :) . It's well-protected there and adjustment access is excellent. Do a Search on Translator, you'll get all the info you need. Send me an e-mail if I can help.

Hey thanks for the reply, Jimmy. I like your user I.D.'s cool reference to V.H., too.

I used extensions to place the T+ near the driver's seat. Also used the plug 'n play adaptor for the spark hookup. I' do it the same way again :)
