My 87 GN is 95% street driven and rarely raced. My question is regarding thermostats. I noticed that most guys run 160* thermostats are they strictly for racing or are guys using them for cruising also?? My second question is how does the 160 effect the car heating system in the winter?? Would i need to run a 180 in the winter? If so that would require me to run 2 different chips. Thanks for any thoughts on this guys!!

The 160 degree thermostat is used year long with no changing of chips. The heater works just fine as well. Brad

Thanks Brad, I didn't want to get caught up having to change the thermostats every season.

x2 160 degree thermostat is all year round,it just opens up sooner by doing that keeps the car running cooler:cool:
