A friend of mines 84 GN 20K, fully loaded, been sitting for 18 yrs on jacks.
Tough to say mint condition...lol well it was.

I would have put the jacks under the frame. Putting them under the rear end will still cause the springs to sag after 18 years. Maybe you can unload it for him cheap?
