I don't know if he will be able to handle some of the better fighters but i give him credit for trying and getting his first win.

With him being schooled in martial arts for the majority of his life, he looked pretty rough. His footwork was horrible (baby steps), he didn't seem to have ever watched anyone from Brazil as he had no idea what a RNC, kimura, or an armbar is, & don't get me started on the number of times the guillotine was handed to him on a silver platter. Don't get me wrong, I was pulling for him the whole time. Strikeforce will grow whether HW is with them or not.

Probably just another Pro football athlete that spend more then he earned. That's likely the real reason he is choosing to take beatings in MMA. I applaud him at 47 tho.

I too think he's a stud for being as old as he is & trying his hand @ MMA.

He's only been training for three months. Just need sto put the hours in.Has a great training camp. Don't think he will be fighting too long though. Almost 50 lol

It's not really apples to apples, but my 7yr. old son has only been "watching" MMA for 2 years & he knows a guillotine or RNC opportunity when it presents itself. Walker did well for his first time, but being a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do & having also trained in Kenpo & Muay Thai didn't seem to help him much against Nagy. Maybe they'll let him fight Whitehead or Werdum next time?
