hes after valve spring install

I just replaced my 130,000 mile valve springs with some comp cams 979's on my relatively stock 87 gn. I have encountered one problem ,,, after start up and warm up i have a hesitation ofidle in park (free rev) i have not drove the car under load since it's raining here and the ride wouldn't be that fun.. under a slower tap of the throttle i do not notice it.. i only notice the hesitation if i stab the throttle quickly. I torqued the rocker shafts to 30ft. lbs and the assembly went fine??? Is this a characteristic of these cars ??? I never noticed it before.. thanks to all who help.

I would wait until you can drive it as putting it in gear and then going off throttle will be different under load. For now you can start your profile with mods. if any, just in case the problem continues.
