hey all (filter screen,pump screen)

tried to do a search, came up with ,should be one in there for the lock up,filters fluid to the sol...

ok i got tthat part. i have the longer sol,has the 2 nuts wich act like studs instead of the bolts, i am ssuming this is the 7004r sol

any who

my problem is, i found a filter screen stuck in one of the pump passages on the case side right next to the filter intake area of the pump..

i see nothing in the books except for the one in the pump ,way on the other side

so my question is" there should be no little screens in pump passages on the case side right?"

may have found answer(but looking for reasurance)

well just looked at a virgin tranny and it has this same plastic piece

looks like may go to vent atop tranny???

looks legit so i will leave it

Are yu talking about the atsg 233 screen, if so then it does go into the pump bodt on the side facing the case.
