I've never bought a car any way other than in person before- is there any member in the area who could inspect the car? Is there anything that looks fishy to y'all? Of course I'll ask for a Carfax but I'm very nervous about buying something I can't see/drive in person! Any help would b e greatly appreciated!

im in sarasota florida, not sure how far from here it is,but price seems a little hi,probably can find a better deal..i bought mine on ebay for 15k and drove to maryland to get it,it wasnt "perfect" like he said ,but close..but with all the extras and a brand new sg1 long block motor with all the good stuff sitting on the side(even tho the motor in it was fresh)went 11s already with motor in it,along with everything new, including paint, all seals, front end parts(everything in the front end),rear end parts, gta wheels with new tires and the factory ones with new tires too, extra set of newly painted bumpers, new drag radials on the side, the list was never ending and all was new? i couldnt go wrong...but with the miles he says, what could be wrong, ask him..any smoke or problems at all with the motor..any flaws what so ever in the paint, and flaws what so ever in the interior..tell him for that price it best be perfect if your driving down...your not too far..heck i went to some bumford town in the middle of no where..terrible drive...if his car is perfect and you can afford it,buy it,even if he is a little hi,no pun intended,it will be worth more one day and you get to enjoy untill then...but if he is close and your very serious i may look it over for you...heres some pics of my steal of a deal...

Thanks for the help, I am seriously considering the car-

He claims it's never been raced. I really don't want a racing car, I just want a car to drive every day back and forth to work with quite a bit more, ah, PRESENCE than my current car, which is why I want a T-top car and something with low mileage- It doesn't look as though it's been heavilhy modified, just a little tweaked here and there. Do people install a fuel pressure gauge for show or is that something only installed for serious racers? How much do you think the car really is worth?

looks like a nice car .. BUT I would want to see it in person to before spending that kinda $$$ .. guess GN's are goin up in prices !! good luck

im sure its been raced  it was in new york till 2004 so how does he know..once you drive one you will see the boost is very addicting..as far as not wanting a race car,me too..thats why my motor has only been tweaked here and there and some bolt ons,we have made many family trips in it,it sounds stock but runs 11s..idles perfect and the air freezes you out, when the t-tops are on...imo that car has too low of miles to use it as a daily driver, but thats up to you..you pay top dollar for a low low mile car then rack em up as a daily driver?not to mention all the road debree from everyday driving, back and fourth..also you will have a convoy of car thieves following you around..i would not be able to work all day knowing its sitting in a parking lot like a lost sheep, waiting for the wolf..not to mention door dings..if this is you daily driver, imo, you will be washing it everyday to keep that black looking good..gauges are not for race cars, they are for people that want to know everything is fine..as far as what its worth, maybe what he is asking is fair,i would look it over for rust..i wouldnt pay that, unless i was going to drive it to car shows and keep it garaged...14k-24k is a normal price for that car in that condition, now its up to you to shop around for one,if you like it buy it..just dont race it  ,ill give you a week before your just hopeing to catch a 5.0 at a light,or a ricer comes up on you that thinks his car is the shibitz, and you hand him his ars..its funny watching the tears coming out of those guys eyes as they are turning right at the next light to keep from having to race you again..most young ones are unsure of what just happened and just look stuned, mouths open, eyes all watery, very confussed???youll see..thats why people put on the bolt ons... ;)
