hi new to the forum got a few questions

hi im new to the buick regal and turbo scene so heres my project im not in no hurry. just wanting to get a good idea and direction to go. i got a 1984 buick regal limited that has been sitting up for about 5 years and now just getting a chance to get to mess with it. so far i just plan on doin mild setup like headers, cam, dual exhaust, holly quadrajet carb then later after learnign more get a turbo set up. ok heres my thing it says under the hood that it is a 4.1l but in the heres the vin 1g4am47a4eh555555 and ive done some reading on trying to figure out the vin, the 8the one means its a 3.8l if im not mistaken and another thing that is weird is that the 4th one is the kind of body its classified under an a-body instead of a g-body hope someone can shed some light on it. and tell me how else i can verify what engine this is. thanks ahead of time

okay i did some more research adn found out about freddys recepy
from the before black page
that will have to work for now hope i got the 4.1l but another thing i forgot to mention is that i do have a 2barrel on right now i and got 2 other barrels before i could get it to start still would like to know about the vin number
