HI output Alts

This question may have come up before but this is my first post to this side of the board. What is everyone's feelings with the reman'd high amperage altenators? I saw two on Ebay at 160 and 200 amps. I also know of a place that can redo our stockers for EMS vehicles. Anybody have one of these? Any difference? Any fires? lol

You can't go wrong on a reman'd alternator they work exactly the same as a new one and most of the reman'd looks new anyways.

Why you need so much current from an alternator? Big stereo system?
