Are eBay/ speed daddy headers worth it?

I am very happy with the results of my 3" down pipe, bigger turbo and the added intercooler. I hate wasting money and so I'm throwing this question out there to those that have these headers for their hot air. I know they can be had for $200 bucks, but are they really worth it? I have noticed that the opening on the flange on the stock header is around 1.5" which I think is a restriction . However it might help quick spool up but hurt top end. Are they just a 10 hp gain? Anybody have any seat of the pants feel or comments about the eBay headers? Should I just invest in something else?
