I had every fiiting fitting on a billet vac block leaking, egr leaking, 3 ports on the intake leaking all at the same time on a engine.
Sprayed carb cleaner, brake cleaner, propane, water, etc and the engine and it never... repeat.....never changed idle etc.
Best way to find the leaks is to psi the intake track after the engine has sat over night and most of the lifters have bled down some. You will not be able to PSI the intake to say 30 psi this way but can achieve 10 or psi on a stock engine. Best to pull teh rocker shafts then you can fully psid teh intake I go to 30 psi.
Once psi'd spray with a soap solution and watch for bubbles.
Thats the only way I found the leaks. IMO if you have a TR it should be done anyway.
Could be the seals on the throttle shaft as well.
