$141,000+, reserve not met, Not the original motor:rolleyes:
I wonder about Chevy guys
Is a beautifully restored car thou, but give me a restored GSX with the original motor and I'll figure out what I'll spend my extra 100k with, GNX - Staged 9sec car and a garage to hold them in:)

As a reformed musclecar collector, I agree with CHARGED.

That's a beautiful Resto, but '69 yenkos are WAY OVERATED.

They are a couple of headrests and some stripes different from all the other COPO camaros. To me that's about $200 - 300 difference.

It seems to me that there are a lot of 69 Yenko Camaro's out there and to be completely honest, they are pretty plain.
Yes, production numbers are low, but almost all were plain jane Camaro sport coupes with the 425 horse 427. You could go build a nice show quality big block 67-69 Camaro for under $40k.
I think most of those guys that spend that much money to own a real one is for bragging rights. Just like any other car collector out there.
The prices go through the roof on any car because the market drives the value. A car is worth what someone is willing to spend on it. That is how you have $500,000 hemi cuda converts and $1 million + Cobras, etc.

100% agreed. these yuppies pay all this money just so they have a yenko nameplate. $141k for a camaro? thats halfway to a ferrari. but it still is a beautiful car.

With that much money I could buy a GNX, and a really nice 996 Porsche Twin Turbo! Then after that i could use the leftover I could have a nice down payment on a home in this area (houses are really cheap in this area of TN :D )
