High Rev. after 1-2 shift? New tranny/Conv.

I just got my tranny rebuilt by a local shop and used a new 2500-2800 convertor from CK.
I have a problem on footbrake and hard launch in Drive. The car leaves and spools like a bat outa he!! but after second gear, while on the floor, it seems like the tranny tries to go back into first gear and the rpms go out the roof and I have to let off. Can some one explain this. It is like it goes 1-2-1. Traction is also a major problem during this happening.

hey tim .listen up .tell me what the transmission is doing right so i can have a better idea of whats goin on.how about lite throttle ?kicks down easy with minimum throttle?please post id love to help.www.ckperformance.com
