higher stall harder on trans????

I figure there will be more heat generated, but is a higher stall TC harder on a trans? Band friction or otherwise? Will it cause a trans to slip (clamping wise) due to getting the engine higher in the powerband at any given engagement point?

It should be easier on the frictions due to a less harder shift caused by more conv. slippage. Providing you keep the heat in check with a bigger cooler.
