Not the idiot behind the wheel. The insurance company. Then I do the same thing and my friend and my brother ect..... what happens? Insurance company says sorry rates going up this year again.
As far as your claim for injuries, same thing. Soon insurance companies will only pay out if your dead. Too many bogus claims.
No matter what happens, this drunk will only have a rate increase, she won't be paying your costs herself. Your revenge will be with the insurance company. Just does'nt seem right.
That being said, I hope your still not sore. Now get those parts ordered so you can enjoy that bike this summer.

Hi Mike,
I know what your saying and I agree to a point. Its not like im gonna collect a lot im sure. Im sure I wont have trouble collecting a fair price on getting my bike fixed either. But insurance companies will rip off people if they get a chance and they tried one time with me when someone pulled out in front of me and totalled my truck I was driving one time. They offered me 800 bucks and were determined not to give me a penny more for my Diesel pickup. I just told the adjuster I would call him back and I hung to phone up and called an attorney. If they had offered a fair price on my truck I would not have gone that far. Heck I gave more than 800 for it and I always try to get a steal on things!!!
For the most part im just giving you a hard time but I think I deserve something for my trouble and im sure the bikes value will be somewhat lower now that its been involved in a crash. Not that I plan on selling it but im sure you can understand my point on that. Insurance companies make plenty of money off plenty of people who never file a claim and people who have bad records pay even more. Im what insurance companies call a "Preferred Driver" cause of my good record. Ok..Im gonna stop blabbing along.
