well i've been having the same problem for some time now, my car would not shift at WOT you'd take ur foot off the gas an then it'd shift...well...last night i read up on the TV cable reset steps..and i had no one around so i jus gave WOT throttle by doing it from under the hood...well the cable racheted forward quite a bit lol...then i took the car back out..gave it WOT and it shifted (not the firmest of shifts but it shifted)...now thats all fine and dandy..but the bad part is..now my normal shifts suck they seem too soft and too early or something..they just dont seem right...so im gonna play with the TV adjustment a lil more..since i did it from under the hood maybe i'll give it a few clicks back towards the firewall...but now this brings up the questions of, i thought the WOT was controlled by the governer...if i can adjust the TV cable and attain a shift at WOT doesn't that mean that i probably have a boost leak somewhere or maybe an exhuast leak before the turbo?? maybe i'm miss understanding something...

overall im lookin for..the nice firm shifts that i had before and for it to be able to shift at WOT...perhaps to much to ask

oh yea this tranny was rebuilt like a year and a half ago and got a b&m shiftkit, not sure what else went into it but i do know it was about a 1,200-1,300 dollar rebuild..i'll have to find the invoice..but i do know that it did have a b&m shiftkit installed so thats why im lookin for the firm shifts i had

well the governer isn't doin my WOT shift because after the TV cable adjustment it'll shift at WOT, so that means it prolly wasn't getting up to a high enough RPM or something...maybe i have a boost leak??

No... If the TV cable is adjusted properly to factory spec and the car is now shifting at WOT around 4900-5200 rpms, then your problem should be solved. Normal non-wot shifts are probably going to be earlier than your used to because the TV was out of adjustment. Go through this test drive procedure and you can confirm that everythings cool.
