i am thinking about having the HNR pro race rear suspension kit put on my 86 gn. it consists of their upper adjustable control arms, lower control arms and rear sway bar brace. it costs around $975. is anyone running this setup and is it worth the money?

Well, I do have H&R's upper adjustable control arms and lower fixed lenght lowers, plus their sway bar...Although I'm very pleased with the control arms, I have mixed feelings about the sway bar as I can't seem to find how to adjust it to let the car's front end lift like it did before I installed it... I used to pull the front wheels off the ground but not anymore since I put the bar...:frown:

Claude.

GEE CLAUDE ,I THOUGHT THAT THE PURPOSE OF DRAG RACEING WAS TO GO FORWARD AND NOT UP AND DOWN.. SORRY I MISSED YOU IN FLORIDA......MAYBE PAUL FROM H&R WILL SEE THIS..

By The Way ,i Love The Way My Car Drives With His Complete Rear Suspension Package...you Would Never Know I Have No Front Sway Bar

I love my HR kits on my cars that I have installed them in. Best bang for the buck IMO. You could always box your stockers and put in new bushings and see a great improvement... I would say it would depend on your goals. Again I love mine....

Far as pulling the tires, I would judge performance by 60ft.. If not better. I am sure Paul would be more than happy to try to help you get it right. There are some great posts on the adjustability of the kit...

Awesome product. Nothing but good to say. I had a few questions with my set up and Paul was very helpful.

Sent you an email. I have their upper and lower control arms that I can sell. Very very good quality and get the job done.

Claude, the sway bar probably doesn't make a difference in you pulling the wheels up (unless it was just the left front). the instant center has probably changed.. you probably have to adjust your setup to get it back to where it was.

Question is.. do you want to ET/60ft? or just get your wheels up>?
