Hollow sway bar size

Geez, have the stickies killed this forum???

I have a hollow sway bar from an F-body. I have seem them refer to as 34mm and 36mm. Are there really two different sizes, or are poeple just measuring them in different spots? (The OD varies a lot depending on where it's checked.)

From what I know the 36mm is the hollow one. I think people mis-measure the 36mm. If you look at one there isn't a whole lot of conformity to it. One spot looks like 34 and one measures 35 and so on. According to GM the hollw 36mm has the same rate as a solid 34mm.
