Hood clearance at inlet pipe

Wondering if anyone knows how close the hood comes to the inlet pipe when the hood is closed. Looks like it is a pretty close fit, maybe even almost rubbing. Anyone have any suggestions or input?

Not sure how close it is but I imagine you could jack the car up and look up it that direction from the oil filter area and get a good idea. That or put a ball of losely balled up alum foil and tape it to the top of the pipe to hold it, close the hood, reopen and check the amount of crush
