Y Pipe Install

Hi all,

I have a 3" downpipe and 3" y-pipe from TAperformance. Everything cat back is stock. I don't know how it is in other states, but in California no garage nearby will touch helping me install the y-pipe (downpipe is already in).

Does anyone have any tips on installing the y-pipe? I'd like to butt clamp it at the DP and bolt it in to the rest of the exhaust, but I don't think the downpipe is long/straight enough at that point for the clamp, and the y-pipe looks like it will need to be shortened. Any ideas?
