hooking up alky lines

Should I use or do I need to use teflon tape to hook up lines to and from alky pump, reservoir and nozzle?

like paul says no. unless you want tape in your pump. these lines will seal tight with nothing on them

I understand the fittings will seal on their own but how does using teflon mean you WILL get tape in your pump? Like anything else if used PROPERLY you would NEVER get tape in the lines or pump. JMO

If this is Razor's kit...you don't use any tape or sealer on the lines because they are AN fittings.

The only place to use tape/sealer is on the adapter fittings that screw into the pump...those are NPT fittings.
