UMM.....the only thing I'd be concerned about is if they become unable to pay you at some time during the first year. That's a pretty expensive exposure - $350 per month. If you could get that up front, it would be much better. Other than that, if you have any security concerns, plug the dam!n thing in in the corner, and leave it. SIGN ME UP!

I'm not sure which "reputable" company it is, but I can tell you that the math doesn't work.

Sounds like a scam to sell Dell computer equipment but it's not obvious to me what the catch is. Looks like you pay Dell directly for the equipment - they must get a commission. Then they stop paying you the $500/mo and you're stuck holding the bag with the $350/mo. payment for the equipment.

The equipment costs <$1,000 but you're "financing" it for $350/mo (but they're "paying" you $500/mo). Access is $30/mo for DSL (varies by location).

I don't understand their business model. The cost per site needs to be a fraction of what they're paying you in order for them to come close to break-even. I'd want to know how they intend to make money. Are they charging their end-users? How much? Who are they? What kind of traffic do they anticipate for your site?

Yeah, what Jim said. Which is why I want my first year payments up front.....
