HOT AIR "ball bearing" upgrade ?

Fisrt of all , I would Like to say , GOOD lUCK to the NEW forum !!

I was wondering if the 84-85 TBO-330 Center section can be made into ball bearing or Dual ball bearings?

I have T3/T04E TA33C on one Turbo Riviera and Stock turbo ON the Other.

I have heard , that with the fast spool, you can Retain the stock torque converter and have the best of both worlds with less drivetrain HP loss that a high stall converter eats up.

Get a new Garret GT or GT-R. Spools almost as good as a ball bearing turbo.

I have Riviera, IT has a uniquie Exhaust housing, but compressor and center section is the same a stock 84-85 Regal turbo.
I checked with John Craig, He said that ball bearing option would be available for mine in a few Months, he is waiting for new wheels from Garrett.

I did not ask him about the GT or GTR series,
He said to make me a TA33C ball bearing out of my stock core, IT would be $400 to $500 Extra over and above the $750, or about $1250.

I think I would like to have Fast spool of the ball bearing and put back in the Stock torque converter, I am not to Happy with the Dacco 7227 2400 stall I just had put in a few months back, Seems like I lost a little top end power?
