Hot Air in the Motor Bay

Am I crazy for thinking this but the way i will be installing my trans cooler w fan will pull the air through and dump it right about either passenger side or driver side headlight bucket. if i choose the driver side theres a good chance the hot air will enter the engine bay by the filter. how much should i worry about this? this is a street car

I would avoid it, why not?, they make fenderwell filters for this exact purpose on other cars. Maybe it doesn't make a difference but its contrary to everything I've read.
