I would definitely recommend the Work Turbochargers Stage 1. You do not have to do any upgrades on the injectors or chip. Spools a lot quicker with more hp. The Stage 2 upgrade is what I will eventually go with, that would be accompanied by 60lb injectors and chip from Turbotweek. The car was running great up until a few weeks ago. It now hesitates and pops when it gets to more than 3psi boost. Changed out the coil pack to a 1987 plus the module, new MAF, changed fuel filter, checked fuel pump and regulator, all checks out. Did a pressure test on the boost side of the engine, plus a vacuum leak test, compression is good, tested injectors. Still no change. Wide band numbers are within limits. That’s about it. A little frustrating but I never thought this was going to be easy.

Been following your thread. Very nice to see someone else's attention to details, fabrication skills, and quality of workmanship as this project progresses.
