hot air turbos

are the hot air and the intercooled turbos the same just need to be reclocked ?

no i think the intercooled turbos are skinnier and maybe a bit bigger not to sure

i think the intercooled turbos flow around 450cfm and our only flow like 390? different comp housing i believe

Besides the difference in flow, there are external differences. You'll have to use the hotair mounting ears on the IC turbo, reclock both the compressor and exhaust housings, and use the longer studs from the hotair turbo for mounting the uppipe to the turbo. The exhaust side is physically the same size while the compressor housing on the IC turbo is bigger but has a longer, smaller diameter outlet.

does anyone know what i have to do to make an 87 turbo fit on my car? my brother has a good one laying around and i could get everything set up right now with his, then buy another one to put on it.
