I have a 84 buick gn. I would like to know how to intercool this car. I dont know what all I have to have or where to get it.

there is no kits out there right now unless you find a used one. the best thing to do if you want and intercooler to to find all the 86-87 stuff and bolt it on your motor.

Intercool 84 GN

TurboMotion V2 kit was available several years ago to convert hot air GN to intercooled. This would be another avenue to consider besides 86, 87 conversion. Bottom line, which conversion will cost the least and provide you acceptable performance increase.

Go to the Hot air section and Search the threads
A Hot air can go pretty fast without a intercooler if setup correctly
So spend some time not your money and read and ask questions
Lot of good guy's on that section

I for one have gone the Turbomotion route, I didn't like it at all.
Then a built 84 engine with 87 setup got hooked
Now heavy modified 87 setup, I'm done $$$$$ later

Intercooled 84 GN

con84gn, what's the going rate, dollar wise, to convert a hotair GN to 86,87 specs? Can it be accomplished currently for no more than $2,000? Just curious

if your set on doing the conversion call gbody parts. i got part a few yrs ago to do mine

This thread "should" be in the Hot Air section
Also see the seller Intercooled88 he has packages to do the conversion.

My bad. I didn't realize it was old news, just trying to help a brother out with some info I remembered.

Alky is the best bang for the buck for a HA without an intercooler.....period.
