hotchkis spring question

Has anybody used the hotchkis 4 piece spring kit # 1902 ? Will the front springs lower the front from stock ride height? I think this is a universal g-body kit, and most came with v-8 engines, which should be heavier than a g/n engine. I already have the springs installed but the engine won't be going in for some time. This seems to be the frame-off monet pit from hell. Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming your stock springs weren't sagging these should drop the car some, and if they don't you'll just get a higher spring rate out of it.

I was curious because this kit is what they would sell you for a monte ss , which had a 305 c.i. in it. I guess we'll see once the motor is in, maybe this summer.

I have the hotchkis springs on my car. Not sure p/n but the front did go down about an inch and the rear killed my 60ft times at the track. I put the original springs back in on the back and cut about .08 off my 60ft. I am happy w/ the fronts tho
