Houston TR owners,

Based on current prices, I would think that a few members could easily split a 55 gal drum.
The idea here is not to make a profit, but allow members to purchase Methanol collectively at a bulk price. Of course there should be a commitment before this is ordered (prepaid). Who thinks this is a good idea? Let's vote and get a count!

Maybe we can get this done through the HBC. There are club members who know where to get this stuff in 55 gal drums.
I "Ass-U-Me" it would equate to $3.50/gal following shipping and drum rental amortization. (??)

I'm up for a good deal on Alky! Been buying @ 5gal. increments, but if we could get a supply that we could co-op from that would be great. Going through the club would be ideal for me.

It goes quick! Only 3 people and 25 gallons so far.
Heck, i would not even mind paying more and let the club keep the profits.
