I have always been curious on what are some of the larger shots that yoou run.
Can you tell me what size you run with with what boost?
Most people i've heard from say that a 75 shot is about all you can squeeze out wilth a FI apllication. Is any one running anything bigger, if your engine is built up?

You need to describe the application. Do you have a turbo LS1? Buicks dont run a large shot of NOS because we just crank up the turbo and its free:D
If you had a regular LS1 you could run a 150 shot at least

Yes, a 50-75 shot is about all the TRs run, even then they are the minority. Most people just up the boost and forget about the nitrous. Its easy to blow our cars up with nitrous, but the few that are running it get great results. A 75 shot on a Turbo Regal will usually yeild about 100-125 horsepower to the rear wheels due to the extra o2 and cooling capabilities.

Thanks, just wanted to know what sizes you are running in your 3.8's

I have a T-76 turboed ls1, which i am NOT going to use nitrous with unless i build up the engine (glass pistons).

i have been curious on what size shots you guys run since you have been the founders of high performance FI applications

Does any one want to give some details on there setup. like what psi they run it when you do and dont hit the bottle and what shot?

Thanks again.

smokinHawk,

where did you get your turbo kit for the LS1. I have been looking all over the web and I could not find anyone. They either shoot NOS or use a supercharger. I prefer the Turbo:D

wicked6

ls1motorsports will release there kit to the public soon, they are still in there testing fase on customers cars, they have seen good results of over 500rwhp. sells for around $6-7k (stage 1 or 2)

Mine is from Turbotech it sells for around $4-5k (stage 1 or 2)
but I got it used for $3k.
its still in the shop:mad:
but im hoping to make 500 to the wheels.

cant find turbotechnologies website right now but
MMS sells it

'Hawk I ran 28 psi boost + a 75 nitrous on my 235" stage 1 engine with a cast crank. I have a new 274" S2 shortblock now with all HD parts and will start with 75 on it too. Also have a FAST wb O2 ecu running the show.

Must... make... more... power! :-)

TurboTR

turbo technologies system is expensive

damn that turbo system is expensive. I would think that it would also include a boost gauge!!!!

Some of us run more than 75 shot

With 7 fogger nozzles plumbed in the motor i like to keep it in the 3 digits on the amount of shot i run. the car lets me know when its had enuff!:D :D
