It was great hearing espn talk about Tebow was going to win the Heisman and the gators were gonna blow out the tide all week. Living in Florala Alabama back in the 90's I know how hard core they are about their roll tide. I bet there is gonna be some partying up there tonight

Nah, the officials got it right with the clock at the end, still had a good 1/2 second left.:biggrin: They also got it right VERY early in the game on a bad spot for Nebraska on a 3rd down play review.
Texas deserved to lose though. In pre review days, Texas walks off losing.
I was actually rooting for Nebraska, hoping that TCU would get a shot at the title.

Miami and their crappy qb at that time Costa gave them a little bit of a game but the Cornhuskers and Frazier got it done. UM is still the power house in this state! The U is on it's way back and so is Nebraska. Glad things are starting to turn around. I'm not a husker fan but I must say they sure looked like the undisputed national champions in this video from the 95 game

We were at the game to witness the butt kickin' first hand. The look on faces of the Gator nation was priceless. Even had to text Cal from the game to rub it in a little.............:biggrin: At least he's a good sport unlike some of them.

l will however be the first to say that Tebow is a good kid with his priorities in the correct order. Using his platform and talent to profess his faith in God - he has my respect for that alone.

Not to take anything away from Alabama, they won, they earned that victory, congradulations to them but the UF players did not loose that game! The offensive coordinator did. He is the biggest idiot I've ever seen call a game. How he keeps his job is beyond me. The only reason the Gators won games is because of the talent of the players. He couldn't find his way out of a room with one door. The guy has no imagination at all! He's got to be someone's brother-in-law.

big east referees game the BCS game to Cincy...pitt was up against the bearcats and conference corruption... i hope florida waxes them nice and good. as for tebow...tebow is a legend... he's everything a college football player was and should be. whether it is football, your job, your family, your cars....emotionals such a celebrating or crying only show how much you care for something.. no one cared more about winning for the team than #15.. i dont have to question if he is a man or not after watching his whole career being chased by guys trying to rip his head off. I've seen Ray Lewis cry too...you can;t tell me that guy is a pus. Just because a soldier at war doesnt always cry doesnt make a football player who does a wuss...you have to relate it to what a person does...his job was to win football games and championships. Tebow is a true hero and role model to young athletes, sports could use a lot more tim tebows. I wish my panthers would have gotten a chance to play florida just so i had the chance to see tebow play his last game.
