How do I change background Color?

Ho do I get rid of this piss yellow default color background. I had it set when the site first came back up a week ago to the old style which was the darker orange and black, but today when I logged on it was back to the new default color and I cant seem to find where to change it? Was the otion to change it taken away? I think this new color is too bright and hurts my eyes. I would love to be able to change it back to the old style which is easier on the eyes. Please let me know. Thanks Dusty

Yeah when the site first came back on a week or two ago you were alowed to change it to what you wanted. Now it looks like that option is gone which Im not a fan of this new look as its hard on the eyes I think.

Sorry.. Im going to have to restrict the choices to one style. It's entirely too much work to allow multiple styles because of template editting that must be done on each style every time any kind of change is made to the site.

Also, be aware that without a skin for vBulletin 3.6, you do not get the benefit of the 3.6 features. All of the skins for the site previous were 3.0, which is 2 versions old.

I might be persuaded to allow one other skin but there were 4 other choices available before and I simply cant deal with having to edit 5 skins every time I make a change to the site. If there was an overwhelming favorite of the ones from before, I'll consider making it available again.

Also now I am not gettting my instant email notifications for threads that I have responses in. I checked in my options and it says I have email notifications on, but Im not recieving emails from anything. This problem just started today after the change was made that took away my skin choices. Also if we are only going to be able to have one color scheme I vote that if we can with this new version we go back to a color scheme something like what it used to be, or set up a poll that asks what the users would prefer for hte color layout.

I know that me and several other members posted in the thread when the forum first came back online that we prefered the old blue style. I just don't like the really bright colors on the current setup because it draws attention from people around you to look at it, and it's hard to adjust to it considering every other forum I'm on has more neutral colors.

Yea.. that was during the upgrade.. lost about a half a days posts then.

I'll see if I can get a plain 3.6 skin working.

I liked the plain VBulletin skin. I think it was light blue and white?

Okay, I put the stock VB skin back in the rotation and upgraded it to 3.6. Hopefully that's what you guys were looking for.

If some new feature doesnt work on that skin, someone will have to let me know. Having to modify multiple skins' tempates is kind of time consuming.

Thanks a bunch. That's exactley what I was wanting. I just got the email too that was sent out, nice to know that the forum is back up to date with everything, and really nice to know that the search is properly working. Keep up the good work this is a great forum and the changes are only going to make it better.
