I just spoke to National Auto Transport. They want $600 for the transport on one truck door to door. They also want a spare $150 because it doesn't run and they'll have to push it onto the truck. Seems pretty crazy to me. The guy says "$150 is the industry standard for a non-running car"...... Anyone have a better choice? $750 is almost what I paid for the car lol
Interesting idea....but I wouldn't think to burden a whole bunch of Buick guys that have never been anything but nice to me just to save a few bucks. I was thinking it was going to be in the $500 range to get it shipped.....I guess I was wrong?
You never know some beer and some food may change their opinions on that - Id be glad to help if you needed it - how about if you got it shipped to a terminal maybe like newark ? would that be cheaper ? - If you got it shipped to Newark then got a trailer for a few hours I could help you out - just an idea
Well what did you buy? When I bought the Gold Car off you in 03' they wanted $150 to get it on the truck because it did't run so thats about the going rate & they wanted about $350 to ship it to me outside Philly from NY. As you know I did't do that it that way because it was way too much $..........
Ted, my new mid 10 sec 86 t-type is on its way form Dependable Auto Shippers, they were the cheapest i could find. enclosed trailer, 50,000 coverage, expedite and top loaded for 1500.00 form oregon to rhode island.
I actually bought a new truck and a trailer a month ago, so I can move it myself if I have, but thanks for the offer It has been sitting for a number of years and doesn't run. If it sits on the bottom of a multi-car carrier outside the whole trip up, it's not going to hurt it. Since it doesn't run, it's not like they can really do anything to it, once it's on the truck, they won't want to touch it.
Try this place, I got the best price from them so far 4 shipping 2 vehicles from Ohio to Arizona. $700 each
